Check of a cable of ignition

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Too big resistance of a cable of ignition can cause difficulties at start and interruption of ignition.

To switch off ignition.

To remove an ignition cable, for this purpose to remove plugs on the distributor and a candle.
At the same time to pull for the plug, but not for a cable.

To check resistance between contact of the plug of a cover of the distributor and contact of a tip of a candle. Resistance has to be equal 16 kOhm on meter.

At too high resistance to clear plugs and to repeat measurement, if necessary to replace a cable.

To bend ignition wires in the field of tips of candles and to check for existence of cracks, if necessary to replace all cables of ignition.

To connect tips of candles and cables of ignition.
