Diesel engine The diesel MAZDA 323 engine represents the line four-cylinder engine with a cross arrangement. The block of cylinders is manufactured of gray cast iron, a head of cylinders from light metal. Valves are set in motion via the swinging levers from a cam-shaft with the top arrangement. The gap of valves is regulated by adjusting screws and has to be checked and be regulated within maintenance, at emergence of noise in the distributive mechanism or after repair of the engine. The gear belt setting a cam-shaft in motion sets the also fuel pump of high pressure (FPHP) in motion.
