Removal and installation of the pallet of a case

For consolidation of the pallet of a case in workshops MAZDA No. 852777739 sealant is used, also similar sealant on a silicone basis can be used (for example, DOW CORNING Q3 - 7057).

Not to apply too much sealant, and in the field of oil channels to work especially carefully. Details have to be collected within 30 minutes after putting sealant. After this time sealant has to be removed and applied anew.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To disconnect a weight cable from the battery.

At the same time data from memory of malfunctions of the engine or a protective code of the radio receiver are erased. Before shutdown of the battery it is necessary to read instructions in the Section Removal also installation of the battery.

  1. To lift the car.
  2. To merge engine oil.
  3. To unscrew a reception pipe of the muffler, to lower the exhaust system and to tie up a wire, see the Section Removal and installation of the generator.
  4. VZ, V6 (SOHC) from 9/89 g of the issue: To unscrew a rigidity element.
  5. To unscrew bolts and nuts of fastening of the pallet of a case.
  1. Steel pallet: For push-up of the pallet to install the screw-driver between a basic arm and the pallet.

The screw-driver cannot be installed between a support of bearings and the block of cylinders. Besides at removal of the pallet to watch that the sealing surfaces of the pallet and block of cylinders were not damaged.


  1. Aluminum pallet: To chuck in the screw-driver the specified place between the pallet and the block of cylinders.

The screw-driver should not be installed on any other place as differently the sealing surfaces of the pallet of a case and the block of cylinders will be damaged.

  1. To remove the case pallet.
  2. If is available, to unscrew a support of bearings and to remove it.

Installation

  1. It is careful to exempt the sealing surfaces of the pallet of a case, a support of bearings and the block of cylinders from old consolidation by means of a triangular shaber and an edge of the razor.
  2. To carefully wipe the block of cylinders, a case and the oil pump. Otherwise consolidation can be damaged by the following oil.
  3. To wipe sealing surfaces on the case pallet, a support of bearings and the block of cylinders with solvent of fat and to dry up them. As a cleaner alcohol or acetone can be used.

It is impossible to apply the cleaners corroding varnish surfaces.


  1. To apply on the shaded places sealant on a silicone basis (for example, DOW CORNING Q3 - 7057).
  1. To apply sealant on a silicone basis (for example, DOW CORNING Q3 - 7057).
  2. To establish a support of bearings and to tighten 20 Nanometers with effort.
  3. To apply sealant on a silicone basis (for example, DOW CORNING Q3 - 7057) on laying and to establish laying.

Ledges on laying have to be turned outside, the ends have to adjoin purely.

Steel pallet

  1. To install the pallet and to evenly screw 10 Nanometers with effort.
  2. To establish an element of rigidity and to screw fastening bolts with effort of 50 Nanometers.
  1. Aluminum pallet: To install the pallet and to evenly tighten bolts - And - with effort of 10 Nanometers, bolts - In - with effort of 50 Nanometers.
  1. To establish a reception pipe of the muffler.
  2. To lower the car.
  3. To fill in engine oil.
  4. To connect a cable of mass of the battery.
  5. If are available, to determine time on hours and to set a protective code of the radio receiver.
  6. To make a trial trip, to check the level of oil and tightness of the pallet of a case, perhaps carefully to tighten bolts.
