Removal and installation of the air filter

Carburetor engine

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To weaken brackets of fastening and to unscrew a lambskin nut. To uncover the air filter.
  1. To take out the filtering element.
  2. To disconnect a preheating hose from the case of the air filter.
  3. To disconnect vacuum hoses and a hose of ventilation of a case. For simplification of installation to mark hoses with an adhesive tape.
  4. To unscrew bolts of fastening of the lower part of the air filter. To remove the lower part of the filter.
  5. To close the carburetor a pure rag.

Not to allow falling of details in the carburetor as it can cause serious damages of the engine.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To remove a rag.
  2. To check a preheating hose for existence of damages, if necessary to replace.
  3. To put on a preheating hose the case of the air filter. To watch that the union correctly entered a hose of preheating and was not compressed or damaged.
  4. To connect to the air filter vacuum hoses and a hose of ventilation of a case according to marking.
  5. To establish and screw the lower part of the air filter.
  6. To insert the filtering element.
  7. To establish a cover of the air filter, to screw a lambskin nut and to fix by fastening brackets.

Injector engine

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To disconnect the plug from the measuring instrument of mass of air.
  1. If is available, to disconnect a cable of high voltage-1-and connections on the ignition coil. For simplification of installation to mark cables with an adhesive tape.
  1. To weaken hose collars and to disconnect a hose-2-soaked up air.
  2. To turn out bolts of fastening of the-3-top part of the air filter.
  1. To turn out bolts of fastening-4-and to take out the lower part of the air filter.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To establish the lower part of the air filter and to tighten bolts.
  2. To enclose the filtering element.
  3. To establish the top part of the air filter and to tighten fastening bolts.
  4. To put on a hose of the soaked-up air on the top part of the air filter and to fix by a collar.
  5. To connect a cable of high voltage and connection of the coil of ignition according to marking.
  6. To connect the plug of a potentiometer of a butterfly valve.

Diesel engine

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To weaken hose collars and to disconnect a hose of the soaked-up air.
  1. To weaken bolts of fastening-5-and to remove the top part of the air filter-1-.
  1. To take out the filtering element-2-.
  2. To disconnect a hose of ventilation of a case-6-, previously having weakened a collar.
  3. To unscrew bolts of fastening-4-and to remove the lower part of the air filter-3-.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To establish the lower part of the air filter and to tighten fastening bolts with effort of 25 Nanometers.
  2. To connect a hose of ventilation of a case to the case of the air filter and to fix by a collar.
  3. To insert the filtering element.
  4. To establish the top part of the air filter and to screw fastening bolts.
  5. To connect a hose of the soaked-up air and to fix by a collar.
