Check/adjustment of a pedal of coupling

The hydraulic drive (all models, except "station wagon" and front-wheel with the petrol engine to 9/89 g of the issue)

Height and side play of a pedal of coupling should be checked at emergence of difficulties of inclusion and switching off, and also after removal of the switch of coupling. The switch of coupling is on the block of pedals and reports to the monitor of system of injection about impact on a coupling pedal. On the diesel engine instead of the switch the persistent bolt is screwed in.

Check/adjustment of height of a pedal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To measure distance from the top party of a pedal to a rug. The required value: Models from 10/89 g of the issue: 196 - 204 mm; diesel models, and also issues, all-wheel drive to 9/89 g: 229 - 234 mm.
  1. If necessary to remove the lower facing of the dashboard to reach the adjusting screw. To disconnect the plug from the coupling switch - In - to weaken a lock-nut - And - and to adjust pedal height rotation of the switch. To tighten a lock-nut with effort of 15 Nanometers.
  2. After this adjustment it is necessary to check a pedal side play.

Check/adjustment of a side play of a pedal of coupling

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To press a coupling pedal a finger, notable resistance will not be felt yet. To measure a pedal side play. The required value: from 5 to 13 mm. Instruction: When pressing through 0,7 - 3,3 mm easy resistance has to be felt. It is a point when the bar of a pusher concerns the piston of the main cylinder.
  2. If it is required, to weaken a lock-nut - With - and to adjust a pedal side play rotation of a rod of the piston - D-.
  3. To completely squeeze out a pedal and to measure the distance which remained from a pedal to a rug. The required value: Models from 9/89 g of the issue: at least 41 mm; diesel models, and also all-wheel drive models to 9/89 g of the issue: at least 82 mm.
  4. To tighten a lock-nut - With - with effort of 15 Nanometers.
  5. After adjustment of a side play of a pedal to double-check pedal height.
  6. To connect the plug to the switch of coupling and to establish facing of the dashboard.
