Operation of the car with the automatic transmission
For the movement in the usual mode it is necessary to include only a step of "D".

If the lever of switching has to be switched on in situation "R" or "P" if the lever has to be switched on from "D" in "2" or from "2" in "1", it is necessary to press the button on the switching lever handle. It is explained by an arrow …. In the direction of an arrow … the lever of the choice of transfer can move without pressing of the button.

When switching the lever in the provision of advance or a backing squeeze out a brake pedal of the provision of a neutral or the parking.

  • Turn on the switching lever in situation "R" and "P" only on not movably standing car.
  • Never accelerate the engine by the included transfer forward and the squeezed-out brake pedal.
  • Never hold the car on rise due to increase in speed. Surely use the brake system.
  • Switch to steps "1", "2", "D" or "R" from situation "N" or "D" only idling.

Start of the engine

Use position of the N or P lever.

Р — (position of the parking)

Include only on not movably standing car.

Position of the parking cannot be used as a parking brake. If you leave the car unguarded even for a short time, always tighten the emergency brake, include position of the parking and take out the ignition key. The car cannot be left unguarded with the working engine.

R — (Backing)

For the movement by a backing include only on not movably standing car.

N — (neutral situation)

The provision of idling (squeeze out a brake pedal)

D — (movement)

This step is used for the usual mode of the movement. Intervals of switching are established taking into account economic operation.

2 — (the second step of the movement)

This situation should be included at the heavy or slow traffic, at the movement on rises, at the movement under a bias for achievement of the largest force of braking, at a start of motion on the slippery road or in other situations in which soft acceleration is necessary. Remember that at the movement at the second step it is impossible to exceed the speed of 110 km/h, 100 km/h (1,3 l).

1 — (the first step of the movement)

This step is provided for hard work on towage and for the movement on steep slopes or descents. Remember that at the movement at a step 1 it is impossible to exceed the speed of 60 km/h, 55 km/h (1,3 l).

Compulsory switching to lower transfer (KICKDOWN)

(only at a step of the movement D)

When overtaking or at the movement in mountains completely squeeze out the accelerator pedal. The transmission will automatically switch to lower transfer.

Start of motion on big rises

Squeeze out the left leg a pedal of a brake and install the switching lever in situation "D" or "1". Slowly press the right leg the accelerator pedal and at the same time release a brake pedal.
