Check/removal and installation of automatic equipment of cold start

If the cold engine is badly started or badly accepts gas in a cold phase, it is necessary to check automatic equipment of cold start.

Check

Check condition: The engine is cooled at least to room temperature.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To unscrew the air filter, see the Head the Power supply system, the carburetor, system of injection of fuel, the Section Removal and installation of the air filter.
  1. To ask the assistant to squeeze out completely the accelerator pedal. The starting gate - an arrow - has to be closed to a small gap.
  1. If the starting gate is not closed, to check ease of the course of a shaft of the starting gate. If the shaft of the starting gate has the easy course, and the gate all the same does not open, it is necessary to check a membrane of the starting gate (it is carried out in a workshop).
  2. To start the engine and to leave to idle.
  3. To check whether the case of automatic equipment of cold start heats up. At the same time starting gate in an inlet pipe has to open slowly.
  4. If the case does not heat up, automatic equipment of cold start should be replaced. If the case heats up, and the gate is not closed or closed partially, it is necessary to check a membrane of the starting gate (it is carried out in a workshop).
  5. To install the air filter.

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To unscrew the air filter, see the Head the Power supply system, the carburetor, system of injection of fuel, the Section Removal and installation of the air filter.
  2. To switch-off the plug of automatic equipment of cold start.
  3. To turn out 3 bolts and to remove a fastening plate, the case of a bimetallic spring and laying.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To establish new laying of the case.
  1. To install the case of starting automatic equipment so that the uvula of a bimetallic spring entered the lever of the starting gate.
  2. To establish a plate of fastening and to tighten 3 bolts by effort of a hand.
  1. To combine the average line of a scale on the carburetor case with a tag on the case of starting automatic equipment. To tighten fastening bolts.
  1. To connect the plug of starting automatic equipment.
  2. To install the air filter.
