Removal and installation of the vacuum pump

The vacuum pump develops the low pressure necessary for operation of the brake amplifier.

The vacuum pump is on a reverse side of the generator. It is set in motion from a generator shaft through the conducted disk.

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To remove the vacuum pipeline, previously having weakened a collar.
  2. To unscrew the giving oil pipeline. To disconnect a returnable oil pipeline, having weakened previously a collar.
  1. To unscrew bolts of fastening of the vacuum pump and to remove the pump about consolidation of round section.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To check consolidation of round section of the vacuum pump for existence of damages, if necessary to replace.
  2. To install the vacuum pump with consolidation and to tighten fastening bolts with effort of 7 Nanometers.
  3. To pour in an opening of the vacuum pump of a little engine oil.
  4. To put on a returnable oil pipeline and to fix by a collar.
  5. To establish and tighten the giving oil pipeline.
  6. To install the vacuum pipeline and to fix by a collar.
