Removal and installation of the radio receiver

On sale there are radio receivers with code number. After each connection of the receiver a certain code has to be set, otherwise the receiver will not work, the code serves for protection against theft. If the receiver is coded, before shutdown of the battery or removal of the receiver it is necessary to define a protective code. If the code is unknown, only the producer can turn on the receiver. The individual code in most cases is in the passport of the radio receiver. The passport should not be stored in the car.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

To disconnect a weight cable from the battery.
At the same time data from memory of malfunctions of the engine or a protective code of the radio receiver are erased. Before shutdown of the battery it is necessary to read instructions in the Section Removal also installation of the battery.

Depending on equipment: To remove the average console, see the Head Kolesa and tires, a body, coloring of the car, care of the car, the Section Panel of Devices / Average the console.

To remove a slip-1-.

To unscrew the radio receiver and fastening. To evenly take out the radio receiver, without warping it.

To unscrew a weight cable from a reverse side of the radio receiver.

To disconnect plugs of the antenna and loudspeakers, to disconnect the multicontact plug of food. If the receiver is connected not by serial wires, before shutdown of a wire it is necessary to mark not to mix them at installation.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

To connect plugs from a reverse side of the radio receiver.
To insert the receiver into the dashboard and to screw it.
To establish an overlay of the receiver and/or the average console, see the Head Kolesa and tires, a body, coloring of the car, care of the car, the Section Panel of Devices / Average the console.
To connect a weight cable to the battery.
To turn on the receiver and to check its work. If the receiver is coded, previously to enter a protective code.
To determine time on hours.

The instruction for additional installation of the radio receiver

If the custom-made cable of food is used, to watch that there were no free uninsulated ends. Otherwise there can be a short circuit leading to burn-out of cables.

It must be kept in mind that only the standard noise suppressing set can be used. On sale there are noise suppressing sets especially for MAZDA.
