Memory of malfunctions

Failure and short-term malfunctions of sensors register in memory of malfunctions of the monitor. The written-down malfunctions can be schitana in workshops by means of the special device of self-diagnostics MAZDA (SST 49H0189A1). The code of malfunction gives information on in what place of system of ignition or injection it is necessary to look for malfunction. The detailed test catalog is necessary for definition of concrete malfunction. Besides, the majority of checks demand use of special devices which, as a rule, are absent in a set of a house workshop. Therefore here only some general instructions on check are provided. Detailed check has to be carried out in a specialized workshop.

The general instructions on check

If the device of self-diagnostics revealed malfunction, for example, of the sensor of temperature of cooling liquid, malfunction can also be in the monitor. Malfunction can be determined by either replacement of the sensor, or further detailed check by special devices (it is carried out in a workshop).

Workshops do not accept back bought, but unused details.


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To disconnect cables, to check reliability of contact of connections, to remove corrosion.
  2. To check fastening of cables.
  3. To check resistance of a faulty detail and to compare to the required value.
  4. To check wires to the monitor for course of current by means of an ohmmeter

At shutdown of the battery, malfunction in memory of the monitor are erased. If the same malfunctions appear at further operation, they register in memory again.
