Verification of the contents WITH

On cars with the catalyst contents WITH to be checked and it cannot be regulated.


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

Check condition: To check system of production of the fulfilled gases, for this purpose to stop up a back exhaust pipe with a rag on the working engine. All connections have to be tight.

At this check it is necessary to pay attention to especially good ventilation. There is a danger of poisoning.

  1. To warm up the engine. Temperature of the engine has to be at least +80 °C.
  2. To check idling speed.
  3. To switch off everything consumers of the electric power.

To connect test devices only at the switched-off ignition.

  1. To connect a tachometer according to the instruction of the producer.
  2. To connect to a back exhaust pipe the probe for measurement of contents WITH.
  3. To start the engine and to leave to idle.
  4. To increase speed for 3 minutes to 2500 - 3000 rpm.
  5. To allow the engine to work 3 minutes on single turns that SO value was stabilized.
  6. To check contents WITH the measuring device.

The required value: 1,5 ± 0,5%

When checking the fan of a radiator should not turn on. If the fan turned on, to wait until it again is switched-off.


  1. If SO value needs to be adjusted, removed a seal from the adjusting screw and to adjust with its help contents WITH.
  1. Again to check the speed of idling and if necessary to adjust.
  2. To switch-off test devices at the switched-off ignition.
