Check of a maple belt / tension / replacement of a gear belt

Check of a maple belt

Special tools are not required. Necessary spare details:

  • 1 maple belt. Length depends on engine type. To consider it upon purchase. Too weak tension results in the increased wear or failure of a maple belt. At too strong tension there can be damages of bearings of the corresponding units.

Maple the belt has to be replaced at: excessive wear, shabby sidewalls, oil traces, existence of cracks, cross gaps.

Replacement of a gear belt
