Removal and installation of a steering wheel

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

To establish wheels in average situation.
To disconnect a weight cable from the battery.

At the same time data from memory of malfunctions of the engine or a protective code of the radio receiver are erased. Before shutdown of the battery it is necessary to read instructions in the Section Removal also installation of the battery.

To unscrew slip bolts (a key of a sound signal) on a reverse side of a steering wheel. To remove a slip.

To turn out bolts of a steering wheel by means of a face nozzle with the extender.

To remove a steering wheel a suitable stripper from a steering shaft.

Not to strike to a steering column blows with the hammer as it because of it will develop.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

To check that the lever of indexes of turn was on average situation, otherwise at installation of a steering wheel the cam can be damaged.
To put on a steering wheel shlitsevy connection of a shaft so that spokes settled down horizontally.
To tighten a bolt of a steering wheel with effort of 40 Nanometers.
To connect a cable of mass of the battery, to check work of a sound signal.
To make a trial trip and at the movement on a straight line to check installation of a steering wheel. Spokes of a steering wheel have to settle down horizontally, otherwise respectively rearrange a wheel.
To check automatic equipment of return of the lever of indexes of turn.
If are available, to determine time on hours and to set a protective code of the radio receiver.
