Care of a varnish covering

Preservation

So often, as far as it is required, absolutely washed up and dried up varnish covering has to become covered by the preserving means for protection of a surface against influences of the atmospheric phenomena closing a time and water-repellent layer of wax.

The poured fuel, oil, lubricant or brake fluid have to be removed at once, otherwise it will lead to change of a shade. Preservation should be repeated if water is not reflected from a varnish, and flows down big drops. Regular preservation provides preservation of initial gloss long time.

Other possibility of preservation of a varnish is use of preservatives at a sink. Washing preservatives protect a varnish covering if they are used at each sink, and the sink is made at least once in 2 - 3 weeks. To use only the preservatives containing synthetic wax or Carnauba wax.

Polishing

Polishing is required only if the varnish owing to insufficient leaving took an ordinary-looking form because of influence of dust, industrial gases, sunshine or a rain. And gloss is not reached by more use of preservatives. It is necessary to warn against use of strongly abrasive or chemically strong polishing means even if the first experience of use was successful. Before each polishing the car has to be washed absolutely up and dried carefully up. For the rest it is necessary to be guided by the instruction for application of polishing means.

Processing should be made small sites in order to avoid premature drying of polishing paste. Some polishing means have to be preserved. Not to polish under open sunshine! Opaque surfaces should not be preserved or polished.

Car elements from light alloys do not demand special leaving.

Removal of spots of pitch

Pitch spots for a short time corrode a varnish and then cannot be completely removed. Fresh spots can be removed with flushing gasoline and a soft rag. As a last resort it is possible to use gasoline from a tank, kerosene or turpentine. Very well varnish preservative clears pitch spots. When using this means there is no need for the subsequent sink.

Removal of insects

Traces from insects contain the substances capable to damage a varnish film if quickly not to remove them. Having densely pasted, they do not leave only water and a sponge, and have to be washed away by weak soap solution. Also there are special means for removal of traces from insects.

Removal of drops of building materials

To wash away drops of any construction materials weak solution of neutral detergent. To rub slightly, otherwise it is possible to scratch a varnish. After a sink carefully to rinse with clear water.

Care of polymeric details

Polymeric details, imitation leather of seats, ceiling, glasses of lamps and also black opaque details to clear water with shampoo addition, not to wet a ceiling. If necessary to process polymeric details polymeric cleaners. Not to apply such solvents as a nitrothinner, a cold cleaner or gasoline at all.

Purification of glasses

To wipe glasses of windows outside and from within pure, a soft rag. At strong pollution alcohol and warm water or a special cleaner for glasses will help. When cleaning a windshield to cast away screen wipers forward. When cleaning a windshield it is also necessary to clear and brushes of screen wipers.

When using silikonosoderzhashchy means of a brush, sponge and rag, used for a sink of a varnish covering, should not be applied to purification of glasses. At a varnish covering silikonosoderzhashchy means of glass have to be closed by a cardboard or other material.

Care of rubber consolidations

From time to time rubber consolidations should be powdered talc or to cover with silicone spray. Thus, scratches and noise when closing doors are eliminated. Noise also eliminates rubbing of the corresponding surfaces with soap.

To process easily metal disks of wheels a special cleaner especially in the winter, however, not to use aggressive, acidiferous cleaners at a temperature above +60 °C.

To clear seat belts only weak soap solution in the established state, not to subject to dry cleaning as at the same time the basis collapses. To pull out automatic belts only in a dry state and if necessary to process special spray for simplification of their retracting. Not to dry a belt at a temperature above +80 °C or under direct sunshine.
