Replacement of wheels

When replacing wheels it is not recommended to change the direction of rotation of the tire as grinding in is reached by very considerable wear of the tire.

At obvious wear of forward tires it is recommended to trade places forward and back wheels. Thus, all tires have identical service life.

At an inhaling of nuts of a wheel the dynamometer key has to be applied always. The uniform inhaling of bolts is provided to these.

Not to replace the tire on one. At least, to replace both tires on one axis at once. At the same time always to install tires with better profile forward.

During the replacing or dismantle of tubeless tires it is recommended to replace the rubber gate.


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To remove rust traces on disk prileganiye surfaces with a wire brush. For protection of disks against a rzhavleniye at each removal of wheels it is necessary to cover naves in front and behind with lubricant for rolling bearings.
  2. To take off a wheel cap the flat end of a key for wheel nuts.
  1. Before removal to mark the provision of a wheel concerning a nave with chalk that the wheel could be established in former situation.
  1. Easily metal disks are protected from corrosion by a transparent varnish. When replacing wheels to watch that the protective varnish was not damaged, otherwise to tint a colourless varnish.

To apply to easily metal disks only the nuts provided for them.

If on the car easily metal disks while the spare wheel has a steel disk are established, it is recommended to have in the car the corresponding nuts for a steel disk.

  1. To clear the polluted nuts and a carving.
  2. To tighten wheel nuts cross-wise for several passes.

Because of a unilateral inhaling of nuts the wheel and/or a nave can warp.

  1. The moment of an inhaling of all nuts of a wheel makes 100 Nanometers, both for steel, and for easily metal disks.
